Who is ATS?
American Technology Services, LLC (ATS) is a Managed IT and Security Services Provider and Custom Software Development company headquartered in NYC and Fairfax, VA. What impact has the growth of Microsoft Teams Voice had on your business?
Microsoft Teams has been a major discussion point with our customers, especially more recently with the shift to remote and hybrid work. Microsoft Teams Phone System was not a part of our offerings. With Altigen, we now have the ability to have this conversation with our customers. Altigen’s partnership allows us to now offer Managed VoIP services. Being able to provide a complete package puts us in a favorable position in the marketplace.

How have Altigen’s solutions enabled you to address the Teams market opportunity?
Working with Altigen allows us to offer a robust telephony solution to our clients who are looking to replace their legacy phone systems with Teams Phone System.

How were you introduced to Altigen?
ATS was Altigen’s customer more than 10 years ago. We were re-introduced at a recent Microsoft Inspire event and things have taken off from there.

What made Altigen stand out from other options from a partner perspective?
What really stands out to us in partnering with Altigen is their partnership with Microsoft and the applications they’ve built, with Microsoft, to enhance Teams Phone System. This combination allows us to provide a basic telephony solution as well as serving more complex customer requirements. Altigen’s ability to provide, maintain and support Teams Phone System was very attractive to us because we didn’t have these skills internally. We find Altigen responsive and appreciate their understanding of our business needs.

Are there any specific business results you would like to share?
We’ve had a lot of success. One thing that comes to mind is that we’ve had some great success hosting joint webinars with our account representative. This has allowed us to provide value added services to our customers which, in turn, continues to enhance our relationship with our customers.

How would you rate your experience working with Altigen?
It’s been great working with the Altigen team from sales demos to the execution of projects. Our customers have commented on the seamlessness of the process and integrations. Our clients are pleased with the implementation process. We have also been very pleased with reliability of their services and have had no noticeable downtime.

What advice do you have for other partners considering working with Altigen?
One thing that really stands out is their end user training offering called Altigen Academy. It’s included in their premier support option and, frankly, a great value. Our customers love the ability to provide their users training right in the Microsoft Teams app. It has made a huge difference in accelerating user adoption. We always add premier support to every quote/proposal.
