Microsoft Teams Calling and Direct Routing

One notable difference with Teams, compared to Phone System, is that Microsoft has enabled Direct Routing for Teams.  Instead of requiring customers to purchase a Domestic or International Calling Plan from Microsoft, customers using Teams have the option to use their preferred SIP trunk or PSTN provider.

Altigen’s Direct Routing for Teams

With Altigen SIP trunks, calls can be directly routed directly to Teams or to Altigen’s cloud Auto Attendant, for advanced call routing and queuing.  With Direct Routing our customers benefit from lower SIP trunk costs as well as being able to use Altigen’s advanced call routing and queuing applications in conjunction with Teams.
