Overview of MaxMobile Server 2011

The MaxMobile All-In-One server supports up to 1000 users, or can be expanded for High Availability, redundancy, load balancing and support for up to 150,000 users.

The web-based administration GUI is easy to use. Administrators can provision and license users individually or automatically with Active Directory Groups.

The MaxMobile smartphone client has the ability to make and receive calls over the cell minutes (PSTN/CDMA), via SIP over the cellular data plan (4G/3G) or via SIP over Wi-Fi, and the Administrator is given the option to specify one of the above connection methods for an individual user, group(s), or for all users. Alternatively, the Administrator may elect to allow users to choose their own preferred connection method, or to use Auto-Detect, which will pick the best available connection method at the time the call was placed (SIP/Wi-Fi, SIP/4G-3G, PSTN/CDMA).

After the initial Quick Install & Setup the MaxMobile server can run virtually untouched. Because of the tight integration with Active Directory, new users can be automatically enabled for MaxMobile - even with the optional connection restrictions that can be specified by the Administrator. Users deleted out of Active Directory are automatically "cleaned" out of the MaxMobile Server.
